Excavating for Utilities: Columbus
We had to dig across Waterloo Street to bring in utilities for a new home construction. We worked with the city to move the main electric power lines that were in the way.
NRCS Stream Crossing: Columbus
We were contracted by the farmer to put in an NRCS approved stream crossing so his cattle are able to cross the stream.
Demolition: Rubicon
Timber! Okay there was no trees being knocked down during this demolition, just a barn and some silos. Lauersdorf demolished the barn’s foundation and then the attached silos. Afterwards they cleared the site and prepared the land for a new shed.
NRCS Waterway: Iron Ridge
When the Natural Resources Conservation Services (NRCS) called, Lauersdorf Excavating answered. This site was overgrown with trees and brush. Lauersdorf installed a drainage tile and made a waterway to divert the water. They also fertilized and seeded the site, as well as put down an erosion control mat.
Waterline Replacement: Columbus
Lauersdorf Excavating was contracted to replace a waterline in Columbus, WI. The owner wanted his current lead line replaced with a new PVC waterline.
Reshaping: Deforest
There is no job too big or too small. Lauersdorf recently took on the job of reshaping a knoll in a field outside of Deforest, WI.
Drainage Swale: Columbus
A customer reached out to Lauersdorf Excavating to clean out an old drainage swale so it could be turned into a lawn. After clearing the site and grading the land, it was ready to be seeded.
New Home Basement: Columbus
Lauersdorf Excavating was contracted to prepare the site for the basement of a new home construction in Columbus, WI. As it was March and the ground was still frozen, we had to use an excavator to rip the frost for a sewer and water installation. The second photo shows the backfilling of the basement after the footers and stem walls were poured.
Plumbing Project: Beaver Dam
A new implement dealer in Beaver Dam requested our services for installing their new plumbing. In the photos you can see the digging and pipe laying process.
Septic System Tank Replacement: Waterloo
Lauersdorf Excavating was hired to install a new tank for an existing septic system at a residential property in Waterloo, WI. The cold weather didn’t keep our team from delivering exceptional service on this septic system tank installation and everything was fully functional within 6 hours.
Farm Demolition: Columbus
Lauersdorf Excavating was contracted for a complete farm demolition and farmyard clean-up. Demolition included the removal of a barn, a hog barn, a grainery, 2 storage sheds and another barn foundation. We demolished the buildings, buried the foundations, cleaned the site and completed final grading.
Barn Clean Up: Reeseville
Due to a lack of need and a recent barn fire, Lauersdorf Excavating was hired to demolish the existing barn, clean up the site and replace it with a lawn.
Ditch Project: Bristol
Lauersdorf Excavating cleaned the ditches for a customer’s recently purchased new property. Approximately 1.5 miles of ditch was cleaned and drain tile was installed into some low spots in the field to remove subsurface water.
